About
Offline Nook started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept swapping recommendations for games that run without a connection. We were tired of installing something on a long train ride only to hit a login wall. So we began writing down what actually worked, and the spreadsheet slowly turned into this site.
Everything you read here has been played by a real person on a real phone. We buy or download the games ourselves, sit with them for at least a few evenings, and only then write. If a game annoyed us, we say so. If something surprised us, we say that too.
We pick titles the way we pick our own weekend games: does it respect your time, does it work fully offline, and is the moment-to-moment play any good. Genre doesn't matter much to us — a tiny puzzle can earn the same praise as a sprawling RPG.
The site is small and independent. No parent studio, no sponsored placements dressed up as reviews. Just people who like games talking honestly about them.
