Tidebreak Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Tidebreak Command is a slower, thoughtful strategy game about logistics more than battles. You manage a chain of harbor towns, decide where boats sail, and balance defense against keeping everyone fed. It rewards planning ahead and punishes greedy expansion, which I appreciated.
Everything runs offline, and the campaign is generous with save slots. I liked that a single mission can be paused mid-turn and picked up days later exactly where I left it. The tutorial is a little dry, but once it clicks the systems open up beautifully.
What we liked
- Deep supply-line planning
- Pause-anywhere mission structure
- Satisfying difficulty curve
